Uniform at Stoke Damerel Primary Academy

Here at SDPA we have high expectations where school uniform is concerned. Our uniform is part of us being ready to learn, run, play and excel.

For this reason, pupils must have;

School Uniform

PE Uniform

Grey trousers, shorts, grey skirt or dress or blue gingham summer dress when appropriate

Navy or white polo shirt

Navy Sweatshirt or cardigan with logo

Black, secure shoes

ON THE DAYS WHEN YOUR CHILD HAS PE, THEY SHOULD COME DRESSED IN THEIR PE KIT

For safety, please avoid;

Large, excessively decorated hairbands

Jewellery other than stud earrings.

Uniform and Appearance

An outside waterproof coat must be brought to school at all times, even in the summer months. This is due to our weather being unpredictable at times, and, during showery periods, the children will still play outside at breaktimes.
Jewellery: The only jewellery which is acceptable is one pair of small stud earrings.
Hair: Small hair accessories are permitted, but they must be in the school colours of blue or white. Parents should also be mindful of avoiding hairstyles that are overly 'fashionable' or the latest craze amongst celebrities, e.g. Mohawks, tramlines, etc. are not appropriate for school.
Other: False nails or nail extensions of any description and coloured nail polish are not permitted

Please clearly label all clothes and shoes with your child's name!
